Most universities are taking initiative and supporting their students so they can succeed in their studies, but demands on counselling services are becoming so great that it’s hard for them to meet students’ needs.
We believe an important solution for this is developing resilience among students and educators. Simply, resilience means being able to withstand or quickly bounce back from challenging situations. Psychologically, resilience means knowing how to react to adversity, trauma or stress, and knowing how to acknowledge these roadblocks, address them and adapt to them.
The School For Living takes this very seriously and has created several programs to help build resilience in universities for better results and mindsets.
